Bajaj avengers street 160 specifications

Last year the avengers street 160 got a new update and with that, the round headlight was swapped with an overlooking headlight with an led drl in the bottom the halogen headlight and the round halogen turned indicators.

Avenger 160 comes with telescopic forks at the front and it has a cover on those telescopic forks so that the fork seal is not impacted much by the dust, which has a 19 by 90 section tubeless tire mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels. So as you all know the street gets alloy wheels and the cruiser gets spoke wheels, from the side profile it has a cruiser street look matching with the fuel tank. Talking about the instrument cluster, the speedometer on avenger street 160 is very minimalistic and it looks really good. It is a round speedometer and just an analogue speedometer with a digital odometer and trip meter. It shows all the info for your needs like speed, fuel gauge, abs indicator, turn indicator, high beam indicator and the engine malfunction. and keep in mind there are no chrome accents on this bike because it is a mixture of the cruise as well as street styling, so it has a more matte finish than chrome finishes. The Bajaj Avenger street 160 is available in two colour options, the first one is spicy red and the second one is my favourite ebony black. Apart from that, it has big mirrors, which are really good. They are big enough to see what's behind you and it makes your life easy in traffic. The Avenger Street 160 comes with a big single seat step up, it is a big one for the rider and a slightly smaller one for the pillion but both of them are very comfortable along with that it has a grab handle. The avenger has twin shock absorbers along with that there is this matte finish side hung single barrel exhaust which produces a really good sound.

Avenger street 160 engine

The bajaj avenger street 160 is powered by a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, fuel-injected 160cc bs 6 engine that puts out 15PS of max power at 8,500 rpm and 13.7Newton meters of max torque at 7,000 rpm, it has a 5-speed gearbox.

Talking about bajaj avenger street 160 top speed, the Avenger 160 street can reach a top speed of around 105 kilometres per hour and you can cruise at around 80 to 85 km/h effortlessly. The avenger 160 comes with a 13-litre fuel tank, which gives you a mileage of around  45 kilometres per litre. Talking about the stopping power, the bike has 280mm of disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum brake in the rear which is sufficient enough for this bike. Apart from this, the bike has a single-channel ABS system for the front wheel which is great while being safety conscious.

Bajaj avenger street 160 ride review

The bajaj avenger street 160 has really comfortable and saddle height is just 737 mm and the ground clearance of the avenger 160 is 169 mm, which is decent enough for rough roads as well as these small off-roads. The complete bike weighs 154 kgs it is not that heavy just like the avenger cruise. so if you are above five feet you can easily get both feet on the ground and you can easily ride this bike. Talking about the ride feel, avenger 160 feels nice and relaxed as is always the case with the Avenger series, it's all about maximizing comfort nice laid-back low-slung seating posture, the dual-density foam seat offers maximized comfort suspension is also tuned for comfort it came you know literally glide over the potholes without any issues.

The 15-inch fatter rear wheel offers superb road grip even while you know tackling corners, suspension as well sprung it's not too soft at the same time it's not too rigid it's kind of a sport who's a kind of a suspension sitting. The Avenger Street series are known for versatility, you can use it daily for City commutes it doesn't feel too weary or state-controlled handlebars allow you to wade through traffic and find your way through traffic much more easily. The acceleration is nice and clean and linear thanks to the field induction onboard throttle response is nice and consistent. and you can feel the difference the fuel injection has made 80 kilometres per hour. Talking about performance bajaj has made sure that no power is lost while transitioning the avenger to bs6, in fact, the torque has slightly gone up but you won't feel the difference because the weight has also gone up. so it compensates the initial pickup is very good and the bike really shines in the mid-range. However, there is not much of a top-end and the engine gets really vocal over to be fair it is not meant to touch the red line. It is a relaxed riding machine and should be used in that manner because if you ride it soft you will get all the comfort and good fuel efficiency. the avenger bs6 model is now smoother, the vibrations have gone down. The engine is more smooth and the power delivery is linear thanks to the fuel injection. The engine is mated with a 5-speed unit and with the help of longer gear levers it is easy to shift gears while maintaining a comfortable posture. The gearbox is precise and the clutch is on a lighter side helping you glide through the traffic.
