Yamaha fzs engine specifications

The Yamaha fzs 2021 model powered by an air-cooled 4-stroke 149cc SOHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder fuel-injected "BLUE CORE" engine. The engine of Yamaha fzs produces 12.4ps of max power at 7250rpm and 13.6Nm of peak torque at 5500rpm. in this the bs6 variant also Yamaha uses the blue core technology for these engines to make them fuel-efficient. The engine is super refined and progresses very linearly, there is no point in pushing this engine to the red line because the top end is more or less flat, there are very slight vibrations post 7000 rpm on the handlebar but that is totally fine, not at all a deal-breaker. The engine comes with a 5-speed gearbox system with that the Yamaha fzs top speed up to 130 kilometres per hour. The Yamaha fzs has a 13-litre fuel tank which gives you a mileage of somewhere around 45 kmpl. Talking about the stopping power, the fzs has a 220mm disc brake in the rear and a 282mm disc brake at the front with Bosch Anti-Lock Braking System, which helps achieve improved braking performance by providing better stability and control at all speeds.

Yamaha fzs ride review

The seat height of Yamaha fzs is 790mm which means if you are five four or five five you can easily ride this bike, and the 2021 fzs has a single seat which is very comfortable and very good for daily use, it is a practical city commuter now and you can also take female riders who like to sit sideways on this bikes has a big seat for the pillion. The complete weight of fzs is  137 kgs and it gets a decent ground clearance of 165 mm that means you can easily take it on the city roads on the rough roads as well as off roads.

Talking about the performance, the fz lineup by Yamaha is now more focused on a commuter and aims to cater for your daily needs hence without any doubt they are comfortable. The seating posture is upright, the seats are a good cushion, you get slightly rare set footpegs and it has good wide handlebars which also helps you in easily manoeuvring. The engine produces very smooth power delivery no complaints in that, in fact, the clutch is also very light, so if you are stuck in the traffic with this bike it won't be a big issue. Talking about the brakes of the new fzs,  the rear brake is ok it gets the job done but there is a scope of improvement in terms of byte and feedback, and in the front with single-channel abs the stopping power is good and so is the feedback It inspires good confidence. Overall Yamaha fzs is a good performer in the practicality segment and it also keeps your pocket in check with Yamaha's durability and refinement.
