After a very long wait, Bajaj India launched two new bikes with a brand new engine, under the pulsar lineup named the F250 and the n250. The new engine is going to depict the future of the pulsar series because this new engine is going to be used in all the upcoming pulsars. So let's check out what's new in the brand new pulsar N250 and how much it differs from the previous generation pulsar.

Pulsar N250 Overall looks

Starting with the overall look and feel, in teams of design the pulsar n250 has been completely changed. The new bajaj pulsar n250 comes with all led treatment, it gets led turn indicators, led drls and led bi-directional projector headlamps. in the front Pulsar n250 has  37 mm telescopic forks and in the rear, it has a seven-step adjustable mono-shock. The side profile is also completely new, pulsar n250 comes with bulky looking 14-litre fuel tank and talking about the mileage of n250 it can deliver somewhere around 40 kmpl which is good enough for the 250cc motorcycle. Just like other motorcycles in this segment, the pulsar n250  gets 17-inch alloy wheels and you get a 100 by 80 section tire in the front with a 130 by 70 section tire. As part of the braking system, the new pulsar n250 has a 300mm disc brake in the front and a 230mm in the rear. Now the pulsar n250 comes with single-channel abs and dule-channel abs options. The tail session of pulsar n250 is also newly designed, it has a set of twin led tail lights that look similar looks, but there is a slight angle to it and then our led turned indicators. Bajaj introduced a brand new instrument cluster with pulsar n250,the instrument cluster is still a semi-digital instrument cluster, it has an analogue tachometer and a small digital screen for the speedometer. Apart from that, it shows digital fuel gauge, gear position indicator, average fuel efficiency, and it has multiple indicators for engine malfunction, battery malfunction, abs malfunction, rpm limiter, turn indicators, neutral indicator then you also have high beam indicator. The exhaust of pulsar n250 is relatively small, it is a side-hung single barrel exhaust with twin exits which also sound good. with a fresh modern design, bajaj has taken all the right boxes for the new generation pulsar to carry the legacy. However, there is still scope to make it technologically advanced as it lacks Bluetooth connectivity.

Pulsar N250 Engine spaces

Bajaj pulsar N250 comes with a brand new dtsi engine it is a 249 cc SOHC 2 valve, an oil-cooled bs6 complained fi engine which is mated to the 5-speed gearbox. This brand new 250cc engine produces a maximum power of 24.5 ps at 8750 rpm and the peak torque is 21.5-newton meters at 6500 rpm., and this new  250cc motor is better than the other 250cc motorcycles in the computer segment. Talking about performance on pulsar n250, this new 250cc engine feels much refined, there are no vibrations at all till 6000 rpm. and the top speed to this new pulsar n250 is 130km/h to 135km/h. However, the pickup is effortless; it produces enough torque to overtake in the fourth and the fifth gear.

Pulsar N250 Ride Review

The new pulsar N250 gets a split seat, but the seat is wider than the outgoing pulses and the texture of the seat cover is also new just like we see on the ktm rc200. This new seat provides you superior grip even in wet conditions. The seat is decently padded for the rider comparatively the pillion seat is much softer. The seat height of pulsar n250  is 795 mm, which means if you are above 5'5" you can easily ride this motorcycle.The new bajaj pulsar n250 is completely different, the comfort of the seat is amazing as it is wider and very accommodating. The tubular handlebar is slightly set low for a sporty stance and the footpegs are slightly raised which adds to the convenience and stop-and-go traffic this makes it a better city commuter .The bajaj pulsar n250 is built on a tubular frame and the weight of the bajaj n250 is 162 kgs in fact the ground clearance is also maintained at 165 mm which is decent enough for your city commute and your normal rough roads and rough patches. the power delivery is very linear and the bike progresses very smoothly the 250cc motor has been tuned slightly towards practicality rather than to be aggressively sporty which makes sense because this bike is a hybrid of a city commuter, as well as a sporty tourer. The 5-speed unit is also flawless shifts, are very precise and smooth thanks to the slipper clutch which assists in this smoothness even when you are downshifting aggressively the clutch operations are also light which is suited for city usage. The brakes have a very powerful bite. The front one offers really good feedback. The suspensions are perfectly tuned for city commute,  the ride is very comfortable and absorbs the bad patches easily, the rare monoshock offers good feedback however as they are softly sprung they are more inclined towards comfort than sportiness.

Pulsar N250 Price

The price of the bajaj pulsar N250 strat from Rupees 1.38 lakhs ex-showroom for the single channel abs and the dual channel abs start from Rupees 1.49 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. Pulsar n250 is available in two colour options which are the Racing red and the Techno grey. Overall the bajaj pulsar n250 is a good package as compared to its other rivals of honda hornet 2.0 and the pulsar n250 would be a very good option in the price segment under 1.5 lakh rupees.
